One of the founding ideals of the Foundation Year Programme's was tthe creation of a community in which students are encouraged to develop all sides of themselves: intellectual, spiritual, artistic and physical.
The Athletics Department offers many options for students who wish to remain involved in athletics after high school. For the serious athlete, varsity sports include soccer, basketball, volleyball, rugby, and badminton,.These are characterized by a commitment to excellence.
For those who want to stay fit and play recreationally, there is a wide range of recreational and fitness opportunities, including soccer and dodgeball, supported by the King's Amateur Athletics Association (known as CUBE). King's relationship with Dalhousie adds intramural flag football, ultimate frisbee, and beach volleyball to the mix.
The Athletics Department urges every student to join in, whatever your skills and ambitions.
