FYP Section IV: The Age of Reason
DESCRIPTION
Beginning with Descartes, we study the development of modern concepts of freedom, nature, and society. Special attention is paid to political theory and natural science in this section. The section coordinator for the Age of Reason is Dr. Stephen Boos.

Students in the science option attend six hours of lecture and three hours of tutorial; they do not attend the Thursday FYP classes.
