Admission Requirements for Home-Schooled Students

Each home-schooled applicant is assessed on an individual basis. It is beneficial for the student to provide as much information as possible. Each application package should include:

  • The application form and fee;
  • A letter from the student;
  • A writing sample from the student;
  • Some information from the educator about the curriculum or program followed;
  • Lists of textbooks used and books read;
  • Any transcripts that might be available;
  • Results of any standardized tests, such as SAT or ACT (a total score of 1650 on the new SAT);
  • For any program requiring pre-calculus math: successful completion of the Math Diagnostic Test.
