Part-time Instructor, School of Journalism: Copy Editing

The successful candidate will teach Copy Editing (J3550) in the winter term. This is an elective course taken by students working toward a Bachelor of Journalism (honours) and students taking a Minor in Journalism Studies. The successful candidate will have deep experience as a copy editor in a Canadian newsroom, be familiar with CP style and standard rules of grammar. The ideal candidate will be a stickler for detail and be proficient in editing many forms of journalism, including newspaper, magazine, online and broadcast writing.
Class Time: Thursdays, 1:35pm - 3:25pm
Dates: January 4, 2012 to April 5, 2012
