Women's Varsity Soccer Team Gears Up for the 2010-2011 Season

The UKC women's soccer team is coming off a strong 2009 season. Having accomplished an undefeated regular season record the Blue Devils' season came to an end with a devastating 1-0 loss in the final of the ACAA championships, finishing 2nd overall. Along with this team accomplishment many players were also recognized for their individual performances. The 2010 season brings promise to the Blue Devils' line up with league MVP Marika Mckenzie returning, along with last years rookie of the year nominee Irene Flatley and veterans and all conference players Sarah Kraus and captain Kelly Cousens. With a mix of returning players and new recruits the blue devils hope to build on last years successes and continue to play the exciting attractive football they delivered throughout the 09 season.
