Hi!

My name is Grace, and I’m from Calgary, Alberta. I’m a first-time Junior Don but previously worked as a Patroller. I’m in my fourth year at King’s in HOST and Sustainability. I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, and going to the gym. I love to explore Halifax and would be happy to share hotspot recommendations!

I can’t wait to get to know all of you, and I hope you enjoy your time in King’s residence!

Dons are either upper-year King’s students or young professionals who live within a residence floor or bay and provide support to residents in their community.

They can help with:

  • Peer support & mentorship
  • Community building & programming
  • Conflict resolution between community members
  • Providing referrals to campus supports

Dons are the first line of support for individuals living in residence. There is a Don on Call available for urgent/immediate support each evening, weekend and holiday.

The Don on Call (4pm-8am Mon-Fri & 24/7 on weekends and holidays) can assist with:

  • After hours incident response
  • After hours emergency response
  • After hours mental health crisis response
